Hi all

I tried putting this question on the camera forums but I had no replies but 59 people looked at the question.

Can anyone give us some assistance with camera settings for the X4S and X5S to be used with drone deploy?

Thanks

Keith

We are just getting started with mapping so we are just looking for some general settings we can tweak with either camera as a basis to get going

Try to keep your ISO as low as possible (100), start off with the aperture around f5.6 and keep your shutter speed above 1/250. This would all be done in Manual mode. You can also try "S" mode, shutter priority. Since the camera will be pointing straight down exposure should not change very much depending on what you are shooting. I have found that if you are mapping with an Inspire, my maps do not come out nowhere near as good as with the Mavic. A huge shoutout to the Mavic for it’s ease of use and long flight time.
