David - Upgrading from 1.0.1.19 to
01.05.02.00 using SD card approach. GO app current at 2.7.1. Upgrade progressed what appeared to be normal up to 95% (was monitoring with Go app on iPhone). At 95% it stayed ... did have a very quick flash screen message that upgrade completed successfully however reading was still 95%. I continued to wait for probably 45 more minutes ... no change. Decided to turn off Osmo and Go app ... restarted both (95% message gone) ... connected Wi-Fi ... Go app displayed start screen. However when I tapped the camera icon to enter the Go app ... indicated update no complete so stopped at that point. Osmo by itself was operating normally. Finally deleted Go app from iPhone, reloaded from app store and reconnected with Osmo ... appeared to be OK. When I checked on Osmo version still 1.0.1.19. Tried the redo of upgrade, downloaded firmware again, tried again but no action. Any suggestions? (Sorry for the long explanation) Thanks

Here's what I would do. I updated mine using the sd card that came with the osmo using the sd card method. I downloaded the file on my Mac book, extracted the bin file then inserted the sd card into my Mac and copied the bin file into the dcim folder.
Beforehand I formatted the card in the osmo so as I had a clean card and updated the Dji app on my iPhone 6s and make sure you have full battery
Then insert your sd card into the osmo with the gimbil locked and the osmo placed flat on a desk etc start it up and leave it alone
Mine took about 14 mins to update with no issues
At NO POINT did I log on to the Dji app as I don't think they have got that side of it right yet. I really think this makes a difference but might be wrong
When I got a solid green light on the left led I then turned it off and at that point left it alone for a minute and then I started up the osmo and connected to the app and all was well.
If this doesn't work I would reinstate the older firmware and start again
