It was a dumb experiment and not even very good. They shouldn't be dropping missiles like that, first of all, and second, the experiment wasn't even very valid with all of those variables. The tape could have softened the blow and the beaded thing they used was just something large to get sandwiched between it and the ground acting like rocks. Even the release was poorly thought out. Then, posting a 900ft flight with telemetry.. ... O boy.

900 ft. I believe the phone reaches terminal velocity in about 200'-300'. They could have gone to 10,000 and the same thing would have happened as far as damage. Idiots. "Here's your sign..."
