It appears that another idiot is happy to take a UAV up over 12,000 feet.

Absolute lunacy - what would happen if a GPS satellite hit you. Or even worse, the ISS space station?
Very irresponsible.

If you look toward the end of the video when one of the legs comes into view, It looks more like a Phantom 2 Vision Plus then it does a Phantom 4...

Not only that - the clues are:
The Phantom 4 doesn't record sound and at the beginning of the video you hear the motors start up.
P4 motors do not sound like that!

Either way - total stupidity and the operator only serves to water down the gene pool.

I went to my local rc hobby store in NC. Nobody heard of 400 feet. I think the local area record was 1400 ft. I thought I was a wild boy.
