Planning building a repeater for 2.4 / 5.8 on a quadcopter

pardon for my bad english... my idea is to carry the repeater using quadcopter 50 meter on the skies... so i would have 100% super good video signal ... anyone try it before ?

Its been done before with great results. I'm trying to find the forum now where I had seen this done.

I think the person who did it was able to get a good 10 miles of video / control signal.

But then again. Your in control of two birds at one time, one flying the repeater, and the bird your flying the distance, and if you need to use a repeater it means your way out of LOS, which is a big no no.

Its a great idea, but adds a lot of complications in more then one way.

yes .. it would beyond los.. but around 80 meters... i always have to fly higher for better signal.... but when i goes down the signal have been blocked by alot of tree... that force me to goes higher... i would only use it if i have no choice..
