Practice flights Inspire 1 Pro without X5 camera?

Firstly, does anyone do it and if so, what sort of additional flight time can be expected with a TB48 or TB47? It seems to me to be a way of keeping hours up when there isn't much to shoot.

I did this on my first flight with the Inspire just to get the hang of the aircraft before attaching a camera. Ever since then, I never fly without the camera or without filming. For me, the two go hand in hand. I'm always practicing flying and shooting in tandem.

My guess is you'll get a few 3 minutes or so extra flight time without the X5 attached. Pretty sure the X5 vs X3 flight time difference is around 3 minutes while only hovering.

Lots of factors play into how much the flight time difference is, but I'm generally seeing a 20% reduction in flight time when I have the X5 mounted versus the Z3 (I don't really fly the X3 anymore). On the plus side, the I1 seems to handle winds better with the heavier payload.
