Red outlines in video???

Hey guys, I had my maiden flight with my inspire 2 today and I have red outlines all over various surfaces. What is causing this my inspire 2 is brand new. Any ideas?

It's called focus peaking. Read your manual.

Oh so it's not a problem with the camera?

I have read the inspire 2 manual, is there a separate one for the x4s?

Hi,

you must disable the Focus Peaking in your GO App general settings.

No problem with the camera. Focus Peaking is not covered in the manual. You can read about it a bit more here on the DJI forum: Focus peaking, what is it and how does it work?

You may disable it if you don't wish to use it.

You can turn it off, but it doesn't show up in the recorded video and you'll be able to tell better whether or not what you're shooting is in focus if you leave it on.

I think it's a great thing to have on. It's too hard to tell if things are in focus or not on an iPad, iPhone etc in bright light. Depends on what distance you are shooting etc. but no negatives on having it on in my opinion unless you set the focus to infinity.
