Yup - would not be flying there! Lightning can easily jump 10-20 miles from a CB cloud like that!
Poor old Inspire wouldn't hold up like a proper tin can aircraft carrying people does

Right you are!...... I was probably 15 miles away from that strike, and landed right after that. This was a fast building storm that popped up out of nowhere. We have had an active spring here.
