Stuck, need set-up help

Well Dji inspires are selling on e bay at a fair price these days, I sort of went crazy and bought a few.
I am having a big problem with the 1st one so far.

It came in "landing mode" looks healthy, looks brand new! blue light flashing
I do not know what firmware it has?

Tried to set up my former "slave" controller from my 1st inspire but I can't get it to update
(very old firmware , 2nd firmware from the beginning and running dji pilot)
I also can't get it to link to my samsung tab4 running the Dji Go app

I would like to get my old slave controller to be the new "master" for the new bird and update them all.
I have not for some reason got anything to happen: up date, bind , connect? nothing

I have done my 1st inspire that I have owned for two years and a ton of phantoms many times,I think I lost my touch and need some help.

I figured it out.....I think it had a bad USB. Replaceable yes?

It's for the P3/4 but the module is identical

Buy HDMI Output Module (Phantom 3 Pro/Adv/Phantom 4)

The Editor: Thats what I thought....I shipped it back to where I bought it. For all I tried I could not get it to connect to the tablet,4 different cords tried 4 tablets as well. Thanks for the response.
