Ok I'll wait a few minutes for the laughter to die down.

Any one know if there is a way to submit enhancements requests to DJI other than their support forum? Things usually go there to die a slow death.

Basically it is two ideas.

1. A user settable secondary altimeter where you could fly to a point and then set that as zero altitude v/s the take off point on the rim Here is the scenario, doing some work in a quarry that is 450 feet deeper than the take off point. Would like to have a display how close to the absolute bottom you are.

2. The second one would do hand in hand with the first that would work similar to the max altitude, but it would behave as minimal altitude when not in landing mode. I could fly down in the hole and unless overridden it would not go below xxx feet on in this case -xxx feet. Heck even an altitude lock would work. I've done a few mapping projects where it would be nice to tell it to maintain altitude while I am turning to stay on target.

Yea I know.... good piloting skills, but looking to have something supplement it.

We do have a few "DJI Support Members" that view and post here but they maintain a bigger presence over on RCGroups on many DJI related forums. They do take suggestions and pass them on to DJI and share info when they can. They have a green profile color. This might be a good place to start, Official Inspire 2 ***Owner's Thread*** - RC Groups

I suspect DJI is going to do what they want rather than what we suggest. I've mentioned things on their own forum in the past, but nothing ever happens. Like their magenta tint in the manual white balance mode going on now for a couple of years on their X5 cameras. They don't care, the I2 ill-fitting red props matter for one example, and it seems to carry over to their lackluster warranty service and refurb policy too. It's like dealing with your cable or phone company at times who controls the local monopoly: "We're the phone (DJI) company. We don't care. We don't have to." - ugh!

I could write a very very long list of suggestions for them :p. Toilet roll long. But to be fair i now just can not wait for the day when i encounter one of their trade stands in my travels so i can rip them to pieces on it.

On the suggestion front how about a slave feed that actually works well without practically touching controllers and a x5r camera that actually has infinity focus and calibrates correctly... too much to ask it seems. Oh and a thermal for the i2 and backwards/ forwards compatibility... ... I could go one a long time haha.

They are a joke, someone should buy out their best developers/ engineers and let them drown like they deserve for their lack of customer care.

I actually thought of creating a Global petition to send them, to show how many professionals out there would love to ditch them in a heartbeat unless things improve drastically...But alas im too lazy:D
