Hi guys I was wondering if anyone Has dealt with this issue, I bought a new tablet, a Huawei and I love it however then I open dji go it doesn't connect or open to the inspire Pro, if I unplug the usb lead on back of controller and plug it back in, hey presto it works fine.
gps and location are all fine as is allow access and other settings.
I was wondering if there's anything obvious I am missing !!! The controller indicates connected but dji won't change to drone, it just stays listed as inspire raw.

cant say I've had this issue before but after trying four tablets this is the one I love but its annoying me , thanks in advance anyone.

With Androids, it might be a safety feature that the app that's been using the USB stays connected even if it's been closed and needs to be forced to stop from Settings -> Apps, and also needs to be turned off as the default app for the USB.

When switching among apps like Litchi, DroneDeploy, GO, and GO4 I unplug the USB, close and 'force stop' the app that's been running, and make sure it's not set as the default for the USB, then plug the USB in and pick the app from the list that pops up a few seconds after the controller's connected.

To avoid the situation you describe, where GO4 starts but doesn't recognize your drone, I always start with the USB unplugged from the controller, power on the drone and the controller, let them connect, then plug in the USB and pick the app from the list. Then, for the rest of the mission the drone can be switched off and GO4 will re-connect without re-plugging the USB when it's turned back on.

These 'connectivity issues' were annoying until I saw somebody post similar advice in this or another forum, maybe DroneDeploy. Now, it's just something that needs to be done with a Droid.

iOS does it differently, only need to start the app you want to run, and might another reason so many people prefer iPads and iPhones.

There's also the issue where there's only a few devices that run iOS and dozens of makes + hundreds of models of Androids and some just don't work with the Mavic controller or GO4 app. See if your model Huawei is on a list of co0mpatible devices: DJI Go: Official list of compatible device.

As always, we should stand by for somebody who knows better to improve this answer...

Thanks, your saying what I'd thought, I'll just do same and plug in the USB lead as it isn't really a hardship.
I Dont think the Huawei is on the list as obv it is newer than most of the devices listed, it does work great with it hence why I like it, there was no incompatible warning when installing go app also.

I'll just live with plugging USB in after both controller and inspire paired/connected together.
Thanks, appreciated.
