TB48 shipping in Europe

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with shipping TB48 batteries within Europe?
I’m based in Ireland and need to get 2 x TB48 shipped to me from the UK. The limit for air and sea transportation is 100wh (which is good for TB47) however the TB48 comes in at 130wh.
That seems to severely limit options for shipping to an island!
Anyone got any ideas for me?

I am in Ireland too..Nightmare :-(. I have managed to get one or two used but in good condition used through adverts.ie or Donedeal.

Have you investigated ParcelMotel. They have a delivery point in NI

Do you know a shop where the tb48 is on stock? All shops I know in Europe doesn't have this particular battery on stock but that doesn't mean they are not shipping more than 100w batteries.

If you know one I suggest you to call and ask the dealer for alternative shipping services.

I've just tried to order TB48S for matrice 600 from globe-flight.de and they offer to send the batteries via "TNT Express hazardous goods - Lipos >100Wh (International EU)" on cost of about 40 euro to my country.

I understand the island issue in your case but I suggest you to further investigate that info.
