Third party camera mods...

Anyone used them?

I was looking at: Dronexpert | Sony RX100/WX500 (30x optical zoom) gimbal for Matrice 100 and Inspire 1

I'm curious if it can capture significantly better still photos. The dynamic range from the X3 seems pretty shallow when shooting sunset photos... since that's one of the areas of interest for me, I'm considering the X5, or potentially a third party camera... but I'd hate to spend the money and find it's not significantly better.

The alternative is I need more practice bracketing with the x3 I suppose.

Still if anyone has any experience with this sort of camera mod I'd be very curious to hear your opinions.

its only a 1920x1080p camera

Um, you can use that mount to put a sony rx100 iv on the Inspire. That's a 20megapixel camera with a 1 inch sensor.

Definitely capable of shooting 4k video as well as slowmo at lower resolutions.

Sorry I looked at an older version. it also records 4K at 100Mbps so that's a nice in-between the X5 and X5r
