Hi Guys,

Just about to place my order in the UK.
None in stock at the moment.
Which dealer would people recommend?

Thanks!

Where are you in the UK?

Can recommend FirstPersonView.co.uk - Simon who owns it is first rate and even replied to my emails on Christmas day !!!
Build Your Own Drone have been good in the past
Justin at Heliguy is equally great at customer service and price match etc.

I should now get commission from all these outlets

BuzzFlyer - very good attention. First time dealing with them I put my order in approx 3 weeks ago and its arriving Wednesday from their 3rd delivery batch I believe.

I've had my dual remote inspire on pre order from quadcopters.co.uk since 16th December and still not got a definitive ETA on it being shipped.

Getting twitchy as hell and now wondering if I've gone with the right dealer

Is anyone else in the same position as me regarding pre ordering in the UK back in December and being un-Inspired???

Notice Quadcopters isn't on anybodies list above!...... My own personal experience of them has been pretty awful. Although I have purchased things from them I will not in the future.
Poor communication, non return of phone calls (if you can get them to answer the phone).
Poor tracking info and non live stock levels.
They used to be one of the only multirotor specialists around - they now have far better competition (in my opinion).

I ordered 20th December from Heliguy and received Inspire yesterday. Well pleased.

Iv Also ordered from quadcopters and still waiting there customer service is compete crap wish I went with someone else now

I won't use quadcopters.co.uk any more. Not sayingnzny more than that. Build your own drone are great by the way.

I was told when I enquired about delivery from Quadcopters that I could either put a deposit down and wait or if I paid the whole amount I would get it sooner.
Decided against plus they were not interested in giving me a demonstration using the sample they had unless I paid.
perhaps they are just so busy.
Interesting video of Father Christmas visiting their office btw.

Just a quick update guys, and thanks for the advice.

I avoided quadcopters.co.uk as they have ignored several emails previously.

Good advice from Heliguy, but around a 5 week wait.

Buzzflyer very helpful, and have them in stock to send out today!

Many thanks again!

My machine arrived not 20 minutes ago from Buzzflyer. Email from courier company at 8am this morning saying I was 2nd delivery between 8.50 & 9.50am. First impressions are - its a nice solid piece of kit - much improved on the phantom series.(Chalk and Cheese) There was a piece of card with a QA stamp inside with the date 23rd January 2015 China. I think that is pretty impressive logistically. China-dealer- customer.
Opened it up put the battery on charge. Unfortunately I'm out all day working so no time to sit and play - weather is perfect as well!!
Cheers

Received mine yesterday and having spent many hours on here getting the lowdown on App installation ETC. went for a quick flight. Came back with some 4K video and a huge smile on my face.

Is it safe to assume that yours came with prop locks in the box???

Same question.... prop locks in the box?

No, no prop locks, which is strange as mine had the sticker saying it passed QC on the 23rd Jan. I just gave the props a good tweak to tighten them.

I'm assuming we have the latest firmware installed?

Hmmm... that is weird? Have you taken that up with Buzzflyer?

You can check firmware version installed via the app. Latest is v1.2.0.16

Just got in from work and the prop locks arrived separately in todays post.

No the prop locks were not included but buzzflyer when they called me to let me know the inspire had arrived asked me whether I wanted to wait an extra day or so or send the inspire now with the prop locks following before the weekend.
I obviously wanted the inspire sooner rather then later and the prop locks are not an issue for me.
However it does seem odd that considering the QA card was dated 23rd January that dji didn't include them already in the box.
