I use water repellent on the props
High humidity with freezing conditions can ice up the props

Curious what you are using for water repellent? I was contemplating rain-x myself, but have not yet tried it.

Went through that last winter.

I'm not home I'll check one is silicone another one is oil based.

I believe the oil is sticky so test first.

For the filters I use RainX

careful with rainX, good for windshield but on a lens? leaves residue and will eventually opaque the lens

My bad most of you guys use expensive lens.
I just use filters. It is a PITA to get the residue off, a couple minutes buffing it clear.

I should have been more specific the rain X for the inside of the windshield. I use it for me eye glasses.
Coming from outdoors I hate for me glasses to fog all up.
