Usb port under led on inspire?

I looked through my manual, and don't see what this micro usb port is for under the led? Possibly for dji during service or something?

It should be for connecting with a computer, to flash firmware.

Is there any way for us Joe Bloggs to read these files. They all end in .DAT extension.

how do you read them out then? what prog do i have to use?

It's only available internally currently.

The only thing you can do is copy them out to send them to DJI if you have an issue.

why is a fly log such a secret? on my other hexa and okto i have them freely availabe... i wonder why one is not allowed or why its not made available for us as end user.
