VW California Meeting // Lake Garda // Italy

Hi,

once a year we have a VW California Camper Meeting at Lake Garda in Italy, this year i decided to take my Inspire 1 with me to make some stills (that's what i usually did with my Octo).

I played a little bit around with the bird (and the Osmo i bought a few days before) and started to make some test shots. Some of them i found pretty impressive (for a noob like me) and i botched them together in my very first video. I've downloaded FCPX and Motion, went through some tutorials and here we are...

I almost lost my bird while using autopilot (you can see the corrections during the zipline) but thank good at least the RTH on low battery worked. Also you can see some corrections during the orbit around the summit of the mountain "la rocca".

Next time i will plan the scenes a little bit better, initially i had no plans to publish something

Not bad for a first video effort, not bad at all.

I would say that the exposure could have been a bit less and perhaps the saturation was a bit too high.

But, pretty decent for a first effort...
