Wanted To Hire: Drone/Quadcopter Enthusiast & Talented Writer

We're a small company based in LA that, among other things, makes video product guides for YouTube and the web.

Here’s basic guide we made about drones:

https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-drones

We are now starting a new venture: We’re starting a Q&A (question and answer) website dedicated to drones, quadcopters, and UAVs.

We’re looking to hire a writer who is a drone enthusiast who will be our “staff writer” for this website -- both to answer user questions and to write highly detailed and technical articles about drone subjects.

We want someone who can really get into technicalities, with multi-thousand word posts like this http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-drones/ …. and also provide really excellent responses to queries from our users… these are some actual queries we’ve received, and we want really long and detailed answers with lots of pictures:

“What is the best drone for photography?”

“Do you know of a drone with over an hour of sustained flight?”

“I am thinking of buying the drone DJI Phantom 2 for my precocious son (we live in California) and I have heard that there are FAA regulations regarding its use and that I may need a permit for it. Could you pl let me know if this is the case, and if there is anything else like this that I should be aware of?”

Note: This website will be about consumer drones, not about military drones, conspiracy theories, etc. etc.

This is a PAID position. We’re not sure yet if it should be paid per month, per article, per word, or what, but we can work this out. You can be located anywhere in the world.

We’re aiming for 10 to 20 hours per week of work, but you can generally work whenever suits you.

If you're interested, please contact us here: https://www.ezvid.com/contact

Thanks!

A mod will likely move it to the right place.

I'd be qualified and happy to do that if I had time... but when I read “What is the best drone for photography?” I'm put off because I probably know "too well" that there is no answer to that question, it all depends what you want to do with it and in which circumstances... and you'd have to send me about 20 of the most meaningful models on the market to evaluate them ;)

TBH, your page currently looks like a collection of sponsored links, each model getting a list of BS bullet points that are completely unrelated to what a user would really need to know to make a decent choice.
