I have an Inspire 2 with the x5s. Back in April I had a hard landing and it did something to my camera. Ever since that I get a notice that says "cannot detect camera lens". I bought my unit from B&H, but when I called them afterwards about this I less than happy with their response. Where would be a good place to send my camera to have it checked out otherwise that DJI. I'm just afraid that dji could turn into a nightmare.

And where in the world are you located since it makes a difference as to where you would send it!

Sorry, I thought it would be a dead giveaway from my profile. I am located in Brocton, New York. That would be 46 miles Southwest of Buffalo and 44 miles due East of Erie, PA.

Hmmm..... Not sure there is anyone too near to you.
Ralph over in Munfordville maybe could help but he is 500miles from you. He is @FlyHighUSA on here.
How about OmniView Tech over in Toronto (Only 150 miles)?
I am at Niagara Falls in three weeks but not sure that's much help.

I was just trying to find out if a camera shop could look at it, or if these things need someone more attuned to drones. I just don't want to send it off and be without it for months. But, maybe its best to just contact DJI.

Agree send it into DJI and their repair prices have been reasonable too even on accidental issue.

I have had professional training on repairing these and all DJI equipment. If you ever want to come by our shop please feel free. I am happy to help. Call me anytime you have questions
