X5 focus problems

I have an x5 on an inspire 1 and I can never sem to get continual in focus footage. If I focus yes then two mins later footage is out of focus.requiring auto focus again etc.
I have af assistant on as well as manual assistant when in manual mode.
Density is high for sharpness and doesn't seem better no matter what I do.
Older versions of go4 had afc, but this has been removed from what I can see with updates.
Welcome any help as this is so frustrating when I look through footage it means endless editing, perhaps I'm too much of a picky sod lol

Need x5 camera help

Why cant I focus my x5 camera on my Inspire 1 2.0 machine? The camera paints red lines on my I pad. I fly it and it and the video reply is horrible. I cant find anything in the manuals. What am I doing wrong in the set up screens? is there a problem with the camera? This is a refurbished unit...

Is X5 auto focus full time?

I'm using the 45MM lens on my X5. If I set focus on an object in the foreground by tapping the object on the screen, should I expect the lens to automatically focus on the background once I raise altitude above the object and the object goes out of view? It does not do this. I'm in auto focus...

Focusing the X5

1# Well after many try's i finally got the focus right on the X5... with help from DJI Tahoe Ed Windham.... its all in calibrating the lens properly... i had spent many hours trying to get it to focus... calibrated the lens many times in video mode.... it was sharp in 1920x1080 and everything...

Manual Focus on the controller! yay!

Just upgraded the Controller firmware and happy to see if you now press and hold C1, the gimbal dial is now manual focus!! Yay!! No more scrolling on screen to get the X5 in focus (which in my experience is really the only way) Thanks DJI... :) This will make it easier for users to get video...
