Adding a FPV cam to an M600 Pro

eshorvath- I feel your pain! I've been looking too, and the mount isn't the problem for me, it's the cabling. I'm not a big hobbyist guy with a ton of background on this, and have also been frustrated by the lack of answers regarding what cables and adapters to buy in order to power the camera...

Editors Having Trouble Cropping and Keeping Quality

I've had issues with the 45mm being soft as well, at all fstops, using tap-to-focus, 50% or more of the time. Even when shooting stills. I second shooting more at 29.97 fps vs 23.98, as that can help a little, on its own, with motion blur, but, additionally, if you plan on slowing it down, even...

Anyone Know What's Happening with these ProRes files Off the Inspire 2 x7 with 960gb CineSSD? Feed to the RC was perfect.

I agree with the above, and would add that the X7/X5s, in my experience, likes to be attached with it's clockwise twist past the lock, then pulled a little back counter-clockwise. Same with attaching lenses- both play better when not at the end of the turn.

    USA TFR 7022

Bizarre! Were other airspace apps showing the same TFR? B4UFly has gotten way better this year, but its early unreliability made me keep and use Airmap and others, both primarily and as backups

    Flying in negative altitude.

Do note that many automated features, if not all, like Spotlight, Waypoints, etc., will not work below a dozen or so feet ABOVE takeoff elevation, let alone in negative elevation.

    Point of Interest Waypoint Issue

Have a look at Litchi - you can set waypoints, and, at each, have the camera look at an assigned POI. In your case, it could just be one POI for both waypoints. Otherwise, I've used Go 4's Spotlight feature to lock onto a POI and keep it in focus, then, in Tripod mode, I fly the route. Not sure...

Hitfilm Pro and Tourbox Software Controller

2nd this recommendation- I use the TourBox for Capture One, Lightroom, and DaVinci Resolve. Still workingnout the kinks, but its been pretty handy thus far.

Balancing the Laowa 9mm on the X7 camera

I bought this tungsten weight set (Amazon.com: Aneco 3.625 Ounce Tungsten Weights Multiple Sizes Tungsten Cylinders Weights Wooden Racing Weights to Increase The Speed of Wooden Racing Car: Toys & Games) for an X5S, not X7, but I believe they'd work with the bigger gimbal much the same way...

Inspire 2 recognised as Inspire 1 first time in litchi

Having similar questions - when I get into the video settings in Litchi, there is no option to designate RAW or ProRes, or the 5.2k resolution. So disappointing! With DJI Go 4 set to record at 5.2k Cinema DNG, it is a plus that the files at least do record at UHD cDNG, but I'm thinking UHD 60P...

    SSD Missing Footage

I’ve had camera settings change on their own, like Donnie Frank mentioned, when using a manual lens like the Laowa 7.5mm (would be 9mm on X7, I’m on X5s). Everything defaults to the worst image settings- jpegs for stills, and I think H.264 for video. Could that have been it?

Cannot get the metadata date right.

Your drone may be travelling back in time in an effort to alter our present. Given the abundance of UFO and Cold War mysteries we had in the late 60s and early 70s, if your Inspire is (was) spotted back then, I believe it's unlikely to (have) significantly disrupted the time-space continuum, so...

    Range extenders for Inspire 2??

Hey Jun! (It's Jake, you rented me the Laowa 7.5 in 2019) I use the 9DBI antennae and do notice a greater range and better reliability with them. Pretty cheap mod.

things im stuck with pls help inspire 2 newbie

One more thing Nick- the 45mm is the most sensitive to weight imbalance, so spend some time getting the right counterbalance for the ND filter(s) you want to use. And if you want shallow DOF, you'll want a few ND options. I find a 3 stop ND, a Polarizer, and a 6 stop ND , each on their own, or...

things im stuck with pls help inspire 2 newbie

Hi Nick, can't help with 1st Q, but #2: try DaVinci Resolve. They have a free version, and if you decide to stick with it, a superb $300 version. #3: the 45mm is a lot of fun and your best setting will depend on your use. If you want shallow Depth Of Field, this lens will definitely give you...

    Feedback on 2019 Reel?

Hi Flipp, you've got some nice stuff showing the variety of shots you can pull off. For me, the #1 purpose of a reel is to show capabilities, and you've definitely checked that box. Where I think it could improve is by editing the reel more to the footage than the music. For all of your variety...
