I noticed a bit of play when I was applying some synthetic grease to the worm gear... The Inspire 1 was rested on my chest, so the top of the drone was on my chest. Then I grabbed one of the arms and noticed a bit of play, very tiny though. It transforms fine no issues. Going in and out of travel mode no problem. Then I thought one of the legs was having this issue, but no, both legs. So when I placed the top of the drone on my chest, I grabbed both arms and noticed it move ever so slightly. After checking it thoroughly... I noticed the washers that hold the pins in place for the part of the arm that hooks into the transformation part of the drone. Not sure the name, so hopefully someone can help me with that, or understand what I'm saying. I assume this little play is normal? Because if there was no play, wouldn't it cause more stress to the joints once it transforms?

Kevin - this has been covered many times........ A small amount of play in the arms is perfectly normal on the Inspire 1 airframe

Play in inspire 1 arm
Loose arms - normal or not

It's not in the area where you gotta put rubber to prevent any play. I mean the area where the arms connect to the transformation unit in the center of the drone. I notice the washers move slightly when I push the arms towards me.

Okay *phew* I was like wth... I treat my Inspire 1 like a baby lol. I apply synthetic grease to the worm gear too. She's treated good. So when I felt that slight play when pushing the arms towards me... It freaked me out lol
