BUG WARNING LATEST UPDATE!!

What are your battery cell voltages?
3.83v- Shows one record of a self discharge in storage? Hasn't been stored very long. Flew earlier this week.
The first battery that didn't fail is at 3.74v

How many days are your batteries discharge set at. After that number of days they automatically discharge for safe storage. So if they're set at 10 days and you charged them two weeks ago when you put it in it will show 100% as it's the last value stored from charging however given the length of time passed the battery has automatically discharged for safe storage. When you power it up, apply load, and everything calibrates you'll drop from the 40% no load storage level to critical quickly and require a hasty landing and a change of underwear.
Set at 10 days but I just charged them a few days ago.

Dam now that's worrisome as it indicates a firmware issue in charging values or the aircrafts interpretation of available power.
I'm recharging now an will test again later today. Hopefully its a one time occurrence; if there is such a thing! Thanks for the feedback.

Let me tell you guys your best bet and what I do at least until DJI gets this figured out - go hover and run the battery down to anywhere between 40-20% and don't charge the battery again until the night before or just before you plan to fly again.

My guess is once the battery starts its self-discharge mode it might draw down some cells more than others and when the processor senses a low cell it panics and goes into auto-land.
