Can't upgrade firmware - HELP!

hey guys,
have an inspire which worked fine until i tried to do a fw upgrade to 1.2.1.06.
i upgraded the controller first.
Update went fine.
Controller wouldn't link anymore to Inspire.
i read online that both, Inspire and the controller have to be on the same fw in order to link.
I tried to update the Inspire to 1.2.1.06 and it is updating for about 30 minutes
and then just blinks yellow lights fast and solid beep.

you have no idea!
i have tried several times.. more than 10x
every time it starts the update and it ends with never ending beep and fast blinking yellow lights.

Check the Pins to gimbal contact. They maybe bent or out of alignment.. Inspect everything!

i did man... just can't see it.
this bird flew two days ago and now i am looking at her blinking yellow and holding that beep
so frustrating
buddy of mine brought a camera that he knows works 100% and we tried with another gimbal / camera
same results, so that tells me that my camera is ok.
