Looking for experienced Inspire 1 pilot in the Richmond, VA area that could do a short presentation at the next Virginia Farm Bureau meeting on February 24, 2016. Great opportunity for some one/organization to get exposure in the agricultural community. Recent article indicated that there were 45,000 drones sold this year in the farming community. Just north of Raleigh here. Going the extra mile to get certified and licensed and whatever else I need to do to fly my I1 commercially. Currently in Pilot Ground School going for my Private Pilot license if I can afford the flight time when I finish ground school. Gonna have to find some really good paying jobs to make it worth the while and the effort. Still can't figure out why flying a UAS requires me to know everything about a pitot tube and a static port, or a chord line and angle of attack for that matter.

Good morning!

I'v had 12 flights with the Inspire Pro and nearly all have been in my neighborhood so far. There is a lot of construction going on so I head over to that part of the neighborhood past 6pm. No one around and I can practice. Even had a Fort Mill LEO stop and check out the drone. No issues with me flying, he just wanted to learn!

I want to get out to lake Wylie and get some shots but I have a 6 month old daughter so finding the time is rough at the moment.

The long term plan is to get my Remote Pilot Cert though!
