Cinema SSD cards.

Question for you.

Just bought a 240gb SSD and Apple Prorez. Activated the license through the Assistant App with the inspire plugged in. Got the green light saying everything is good and for some reason It won't let me record to the SSD.

I have tried removing the normal SD so as to isolate the SSD, and have turned on the SSD function in film settings.. Still won't let me record.. little bit odd. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Albert

I believe I read on this forum that you need to have the SD card AND the SSD in the I2 in order
to get it to record in ProRes or Cinema DNG.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

Yes literally just found that out. It worked. Thank you! ...Now if you have any idea of the best way to import the dng files into premiere pro we'd be in business.

Search the forum for that. I'm a Final Cut/Resolve guy and I don't really know Premiere. I'm sure some other
folks will chime in with suggestions.

The first few times I recorded to the SSD I had no problems at all. Then randomly it wouldn't write one time - really weird. I pulled out the card, reset everything, and it was fine. Just FYI.
