Understand the Raw features of the X5R, but other than capturing Raw are their any other strengths of the X5R over the X5. I have both, and considered adding a few spares but pondered if you're using an X5R is there any operational, feature or function the X5 performs that the X5R does not?

That was a good summation, although it was early in the release of the X5 series and I believe the FW has changed and the issues with X5 aren't as bad as this article indicates. Still, the depth of the X5Raw is greater and does produce nice results.
