Could this be DJI’s July 18th new product release?

will it come with the tow rope? or is that an option. i think investing in dji care would be advisable.

It certainly seems to match the reliability I have come to expect from my CS Ultra Bright.

I’m just a bit concerned about its Dell Boy image.

I have just received part of the spec from the sale brochure:

- Features revolutionary rope drive system *

- Night lighting option **

- Firmware updatable to improve flight duration & stability ***

- Quick release props ****

* requires powerful car with tow hitch
** not available at time of launch, coming soon
*** don’t blame us if this actually reduces both flight time & stability
**** includes foam pad and super glue in package to stop prop rattle

I can't say too much but it will also feature

  • OccuTrottor RF link (with DelBoy encryption)
  • FCC mode will allow flights up to 200km - CE mode will limit range to 60feet (or less if your rope is shorter)
  • It will feature Smart Rope technology (the same as normal rope but much weaker and will deteriorate if stored for a couple of months)
  • Care refresh will not cover Grandad
  • Will be available in any colour as long as you order yellow

Thats him!!!!!
Wonder if he still appears on reality TV and still sells cell phone?
He settled out of court with DJI for a little under $10m in the end and it allowed him the luxury of being able to set up the outfit you linked to.

Why did DJI have to pay out $10m?

Why did DJI have to pay out $10m?
Long story.....
Short version.....
Wang and Guinn made a partnership. (Back in the days of Naza flight controllers and the Original Phantom 1).
Wang got annoyed at how Guinn was behaving.
Wang pulled the plug and froze bank accounts (and screwed Guinn for his share options).
Guinn sued.
Wang (DJI) settled out of court.

As an aside.....Wang has a history of making deals/partnerships. Then gets bored (or realises he has made a mistake) and drops them like a stone.

Yes - you’ve spoilt it all for them. I told you not to post it!
They had Mugs and T-Shirts printed and everything. Even little sandwiches and cocktail sausages on sticks.

There’s always one that has to spoil it for the rest.
