Wow! I've own this gear for close to 3 years. although I have a NATIONAL Emmy I've never worked on a film set. Maybe one day. All I know is that when I put in 8 batteries they all charge. They don't all finish at the same time because but how could they. It always suited my needs.
Nobody ever doubted that 8 batteries would charge. Eventually. The only doubt is regarding your claim that they all charge simultaneously. This is a super easy question to answer either through the charger's instruction book (which clearly fell short the mark) or simply taking photos of all 8 batteries receiving current (notated as amperage or "A" on the charger's display screen).
I've never won an Emmy (local, national or otherwise), but I HAVE been on a film set many times as both a Set Lighting Technician and Aerial Camera Operator. I have had a drone in the air almost perpetually and repeatedly for 12-hour days. So, for that type of situation, there is a HUGE difference between parallel and serial charging.
I have also been a licensed journeyman electrician for 12 years (let my license lapse about a decade ago), so I have a keen understanding of electricity, charging, Ohm's Law, etc. I have been a professional UAV operator for over a decade who has owned and operated well over a dozen chargers, BUILT a DC to DC fast charger for my car and have charged and MANAGED hundreds, if not thousands, of drone batteries.
And I'm telling you that, based on the evidence you provided, your charger does NOT charge 8 batteries simultaneously in parallel. I imagine that the ChinEnglish documentation doesn't quite understand the difference between parallel charging and serial charging (or parallel/serial charging). So instead of being precise with their language, they simply use the word "simultaneously" to loosely mean that you can PARK 8 batteries in the charger "all at once" and all 8 will EVENTUALLY charge, but they will NOT all charge AT THE SAME TIME.
The fact that you're obfuscating and refusing to post a photo of all 8 batteries charging just screams volumes that you either don't understand the conversation OR the charger is as we have all speculated, and does NOT charge all the batteries at the same time.
A charger that can charge 8 TB50 batteries all at once is worth $900. A charger that only charges 4 at a time is most certainly NOT.
So it's up to you to either step up, take the photo and show the world that your charger does, indeed, charge 8 batteries at once. Or continue to dodge and obfuscate and maybe someone with less understanding will be willing to part with their 900 hard-earned dollars.
I found the item (new) listed on Adorama, there is a lot of info about the project there, have at it.
If you're too lazy to provide information complete with screenshots, the LEAST you can do is provide a link to this information you claim exists. The fact that you're simply telling US to do your research for you displays a level of laziness I haven't seen since my last political debate on FB with a simpleton who insisted that I could "Google everything" and that everything he purported is "on the Internet."
You don't even provide a model number for those willing to dive into this "Adorama" goose chase.
Lazy people selling things on the Internet raises a HUGE flag. Buyer beware.
