our DJI inspire 1 is stuck in flight mode - the blue indicator light is on and when we connect it to the RCs it gives us the option to switch into travel mode - when we click it is says it switches but the drone remains in flight mode. There is no response from the RCs to get the drone to fly and every attempt we make to update drone firmware, doesn't work. Not even the front red indicator lights light up when we try. Can anyone help?

From what I understand from having a similar issue, the VPS is used to get it into storage or landing mode. Mine would go from landing mode straight to flight mode instead of "storage" mode which is what I wanted. Once I put it on a surface that had a texture and pattern to it, it would change to storage mode. So try doing it on a different surface pattern...
