E800 Tune Propulsion System

My Inspire 1 is currently down with 2 dead motors. I have seen this Motor kit on the DJI site. Does anyone know if this Motor kit will work on the Inspire 1?

I would get them replaced under warranty, unless you have damaged them in a crash?

I am waiting for DJI to respond to a support case over a fly away incident that caused the damage. I am just curious if anyone has fitted this kit.

Just curious: the specs for the E800 say lift spec per motor is 800g. It is the same motor used on the Inspire apparently.

But

4 X 800g = 3200g

And the DJI Inspire specs list it as weighing 2935g with standard battery, or 3035g with optional battery.

We aren't overweight but it doesn't leave much wiggle room to max load - only 165g.

A bit concerned....

Thoughts?
