Hi All,
Quickie question. Is there any way of disabling the single stick motor shutdown on Inspire 1? Coming from 20+ years of RC I keep coming close to shutdown when doing rapid decent in fast flight in my Inspire 1. I know I should just not do it but disabling the single stick shutdown would help a bunch!
thanks

This has been debated at great length on the forum previously many times (have a search and you will find several threads on the subject).
As mentioned above, the Inspire will NOT shut down in flight by just fully lowering the throttle.
There is still an input from the barometer which tells the flight controller the aircraft is still airborne and decending.
Only once on deck will then throttle stick shut off the motors.
However, a CSC command WILL shut down the motors in flight - it is there for emergency shutdown reasons.
Hope that helps.
