Hi,

Is there anyone out there who is familiar with flying in Epping Forest or Wanstead Flats, London? or with the permitted bylaws in this area? I’m sure this is a question which has come round a few times before, particular from those of us who are looking for places to fly safely just outside the London area.

Epping Forest is a no unless you hold PfCO and have obtained the required permit(s)

I believe Wanstead has a designated flying area (for members) and flying outside of this area is prohibited.

If you do not hold PfCO and able to give them a copy of your CAA permission together with risk assesment, site survey and current insurance you won't get one.
