OK turn controller on, then bird after connect to go app and go to version will tell you to update, do not update the go app
Firmware update gone bad. Need help bad.

Ok stop a minute.
Go into general settings and about with everything on and then post the firmware versions for the craft and RC.
DO NOT update anything a minute as your well back it seems and you will have problems.
Does the rc connect to the craft now ?
If not you need to download V1.3 from here http://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/inspire_1/en/Inspire_1_Firmwarev1.3.0.00__en.zip
Unzip and Place this on a USB memory stick then let it update, once done then you need to connect to DJI Go and update it again via that.

If your RC is at version 1.3.00 or later you need to update the RC using the app. So while having the bird shutdown, start up the RC and your device. Make sure you have the latest GO app and make sure your device is hooked up to wifi. When you start the app up it will tell you the RC needs an update. Tap that notification and update the RC.
