Firmware Updates should be programmable to a later time!

Went flying this evening, as so I thought.
Got to the field and low and behold, a new RC update was shown. Had to do the update on the spot. It was supposed to take 10 minutes but it took over an hour of updating and then I shut it off. It was beeping forever.
Afte restarting, it tried to connect to a Phantom 4 with my inspire RC.
Called DJI, they are looking into it as they haven't seen anything like it before.
The update just came out as I was about to fly.
They really need to fix this firmware update garbage.
Just put in a simple option to delay it six hours so one can still fly when one gets to a location! Geez!

Never HAD to do it on the spot. You may get the notification/warning but can still ignore it and operate anyway.

Never do an update in the field and never interrupt it. Wait until you are back at base and have time.

Same thing happened to me tonight, and I was in the boonies. Just ignored and took off.
