Thanks! I’d like some insight on custom balance rings. Are their any out there? When I stack provided rings and ND fillter, I cant use the lens hood.

What we have found as you have is that you can not stack filters and rings and use the lens hood. You need to use a heavier ring/filter or use alternative methods of balancing the camera/lens combo. We have found that B+W filters are a bit heavier and can balance the lens better than the balance rings. Whether it be an ND or clear uv filter.

Which lens/lenses are you having issues with balancing? Keep in mind that the lens hood is not always needed although I understand your concern about wanting to use it.
