Handling of 45mm

I currently fly the X5R on an Inspire 1 and regularly use the 45mm lens, balanced correctly. But still, I have to stabilise footage quite often on all but still wind days.
Does the X5s handle this lens that much better? I'm seeing buttery smooth footage with the 45 but am unsure whether there is stabilisation being added in post. So, what's the deal guys??
