HDTV as a Secondary Screen

I have a 32" 720p TV in my home office (really just sitting in there, almost never used).

I walked by it today and it hit me... Why not hook it up in the back of my SUV and use it!? I have a 10' HDMI cable too...

I was already planning on taking a ride to a Lookout point at a State Park in the morning. Shooting video where (for the most part) your point of fucus is pretty much one spot that you'll be shooting from multiple approachs, angles, etc. I think would lend itself to a setup like this.

Has anyone else tried something like this while out in the field? Would love to see others' setups...

If it is easy enough to have the power source out in the field, I would prefer a large screen also.

We've been doing this for about 2 years now and have a leisure battery in the back of our Landrover with converter and battery charger hooked up as well as the TV (Editors and Directors on set love it!)

Been using this for awhile now, it is great for clients to see the shots they want...
