INSPIRE 1 Accesories

Add the Sony HMZ-T3W's to the list. They are a bit expensive but have an incredible FOV. They also have a Japanese version that is a lot cheaper except the menu's are not in English.

FPV GOGGLES

ZEISS CINEMIZER http://www.zeiss.com/cinemizer-oled/en_de/home.html
FATSHARK http://www.fatshark.com
HEADPLAY http://www.headplay.com

The products below might require hdmi to video converter:

PIRATE EYE http://www.payatechnology.com
SKYZONE http://www.fpvmodel.com/skyzone-sky02-v2-aio-3d-fpv-goggles_g857.html (no website of the brand)
BOSCAM http://www.boscam.cn
EPSON MOVERIO http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Landing/moverio-bt-200-smart-glasses.do?ref=van_moverio_2014 (at the moment they are not compatible with Inspire, but there are rumors DJI & EPSON are working on it)

p.s Zeiss Cinemizer production ended in February 2015, so the only option to get it is from remaining stock. I heard also some Fatshark models, like Dominator, are in the same situation, it has to be double checked.
Hope this post will help you to find your favourite FPV solution, enjoy your birds !

For all the U.K. & European Pilots

If you are looking for a nice flight case for your Inspire (or phantom) the main suppliers are typically in the States where the cost of the shipping makes the flight cases too expensive.

I found a guy who is UK based and sells what I believe to be as good as the GoProfessional Cases and at a very competitive price. I bought one a month ago and have used it to travel extensively and I am very happy with it. I broke one of the propellor holders and he sent me a new one free without any hassle - great service!

If you interested I think they are £350 and can be seen here https://www.facebook.com/MRaXessories/photos

Cheers

Andrew

NECK STRAPS / RC SUPPORT

If you look online for a good solid neck strap to protect & support your precious Inspire controller, the options are limited and some of the products available are just cheap lanyards.
There are some good professional RC neck straps available ( to be added to this section later) but today I suggest a different approach.
During my last rehearsal ( when I am not flying, I am a musician) I realised that the neck strap used by my saxophone player should be a great solution to support the Inspire's RC.
A professional saxophone, like Selmer for example, costs a few thousand dollars, therefore the neck straps developed for sax players are carefully design to offer protection & support for extended period of times.
You don't want a tired sax player on stage, and last but not least you don't want to see that expensive instrument on the floor.
So I decided to test my colleague's sax strap with my controller and they work perfect.
He is using a NEOTECH tenor sax straps, but below you will find major producers for saxophone neck straps.
B.AIR http://www.b-air.jp/jp/
BG http://www.bgfranckbichon.com
NEOTECH https://neotechstraps.com
KOLBL http://www.koelblmusic.com
CEBULLA http://cebulla-saxstrap.de
JAZZLAB http://www.jazzlab.com/en/

There are other several other good brands like Protec, Zappatini, Dave Guardala, Ergonomic Systems, Airmusic or Schwarz, unfortunately could not find their official website, however the easiest way to choose your favourite neck strap for Inspire 1 controller is to visit one of the largest musical stores online, like Thomann, Sweetwater, Musician's friend etc, select wind instruments category, and look for "neck straps for saxophones" section.

Hope this info helps, wish you a safe & pleasant flight time

If Joe Cocker would be alive, he would sing "you can leave your props on" after seeing this case :)

Awesome concept from Droneland, they even offer the possibility to engrave your custom logo on the inside foam of the case.
The price is high, it seems to be the most expensive case so far, but considering it's a 100% flight mode case you should have a look.
Enjoy !

Very helpful thanks could you post again what your experience is in actual use with the sax harness?

A little steep but not bad.
serioulsy,? a massive box, in a side bag, and its freaking expensive,,,,,
Seems like a rubbish solution to me. Surely Epson could just put an HDMI input on the glasses if they wanted to

I personally think the original DJI case is the best designed case...( its just poorly made )... a strong well made version of this case would be the go .... as far as FPV glasses go... lookout for the.. AVEGANT GLYPH.. delivery's will start this year... they are a game changer...
