Hi folks - new member here. Actually found your group through trying to troubleshoot the above! I have now fixed it but thought I'd share what I found in case anyone else has the issue.
I swapped out the round GPS cover on my Inspire 2 today - it was just a bit scratched up and I thought I'd treat it to a fresh look - when I put everything back together, everything functioned just fine, but there were no front and rear LEDs and no status indicator - just a couple of purple flashes followed by another two on startup and then nothing.
Wondered at first if I'd messed a cable up taking the top shell off or putting it back on, but was really careful and only really opened it enough to undo the 6 screws holding the sat cover in place (if you do that change yourself, watch for the very thin o-ring!).
I couldn't find anything online so figured, seeing as there's no way to power the system with the shell off, that maybe reinitialising through DJI Assistant back to Factory Default would solve the problem (I tried reinstalling the firmware first - no joy)... and it did!
Anyway, I hope this thread finds someone having a similar issue and helps them out - would have saved me a good hour or so!

What is a satellite cover? Are you referring to the GPS Antenna cover? I researched it and can't find any "satellite cover" in the DJI nomenclature.

Yes, mate. I figured folk would know what I was talking about, but I'll edit it.
I tend to take speech and language VERY literally, which makes it difficult sometimes to figure out what people actually mean over what they actually say. As you can imagine, communicating with the fairer gender is nearly impossible. I have to have my girlfriend translate all the time.

Glad you got it fixed.

On that front I don't think you're much different to the rest of us, mate. Try being married to an American. She's literally only just got used to how much I swear after almost 15 years.

But yeah, all fixed now. I just thought folk might like to know that if you take the top shell off, you need to reinitialise/reset to factory default.

Which, come to think of it, might have been a better way to phrase my entire thread. 😂

That's funny. Turns out, by sheer dumb coincidence, I, too, have an American girlfriend of just about 15 years...<;^) And while her and I have no trouble communicating, to listen to her cackle back and forth with her two sisters is like listening to aliens. One will start to talk and the other two will interrupt and then they all start laughing, none of them ever completing a sentence. I just sit there in amazement wondering how the heck any of them know what the other is intending. It truly is communication via osmosis. I should record it sometime.
