Installed FPVLR kit now have no connection

Hi Guys, I thought I had correctly installed the long range FPVLR kit. Now I have no connection from the RC to craft. After install should I have done a firmware update. The RC starts beeping after 30 seconds. Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you have any control of the aircraft at all? Are you sure you connected the ribbon correctly? You didn't accidentally not allow the device to connect to your tablet/phone upon the initial start up of the app?
The ribbon I'm referring to can be seen at 2 minutes 15 seconds on the video bellow ~

The ribbon was not damaged and was re installed correctly

The RC powers up. No controls...dead

You probably won't want to do this but I suggest reopening the RC and checking over everything very very carefully. Even check over areas that you didn't touch.
