Is 500 Yards down range the maximum?

I have been trying to figure out how to enable my inspire 1 to fly farther away from me. The maximum distance that I can find on my app is 500 yards. I would appreciate some help in expanding that range. Thanks!

Increase the geofence to 5,000 yards. Or you can disable the GeoFence altogether. But this is for Go App v3.1.1. I imagine DJI has probably removed the option to fly our drones, that we bought and paid for, how we wish. You should show a screenshot of this "500 yards." I always thought distance was notated in feet or meters.
