Bought used on eBay and seller stated this issue was there. Said he replaced the central landing mechanism and it did not fix the problem. Tried using the controller to lower the gear, but nothing happens. I don’t hear any sounds other than the hum of the drone when the battery is on. Anyone have any ideas about this?

It’s probably the $300 center frame. You can’t replace the servo motor alone. Then it’s about a 2 hour break down of the entire drone if you’re lucky enough to be able to loosen the center fame mounting bolts.

I was not and had to cut out the old center frame, buy a new set of mounting bolts. It’s a common problem.

If original owner said he did that! He probably lied to make it sound like the problem was something simpler

it could be a simple botched FW update too. AC and RC on and he manually screwed the thing up to landing mode

The tail light is blue and the controller is all white with one red dot to the left of battery meter.
blue means in travel mode, and red means the RC not linked. try turning on both the bird and RC then within the app under the remote settings hit the link remote. then on the bird theres the smal red button push that and see if they link then try to raise out of travel mode.

if that dont work try to rollback the Firmware of the RC and link the RC and bird....

ive seen it a lot people witll update the remote prior to the bird then it gets stuck in travel mode. always need to do the bird then the rc with the other off

Okay, no connection when trying to link. Tried to rollback firmware on remote and it stated current version 1.2.0.16+ and in red “Rollback not supported” and gave no option for any updates.

the RC and AC may be on different level then. does it show the FW for the AC? cause they also need to be matched to properly link. and unfortunately cant update the bird without it being moved to landing mode from the app

No, only shows the RC version as aircraft is disconnected.
