OPTI Mode Questions

Does anyone know what happens to collision avoidance and obstacle sensing functions if Inspire 2 cannot get satelite lock for GPS ? I have had 2 occurances were I could not get GPS lock and DJI Go 4 screen switched to OPTI mode. Flight was controllable not sure if it is best to switch to ATTI mode or just leave as is. Had no problems landing not sure what/when these functions do not work.

My only comment is I would be concerned if the Sat Visibility suddenly changed and could cause some erratic behavior when it did hook up. Setting in Atti mode would prevent this. Once you saw your Sat numbers go up then you could decide to turn it on yourself. I use obstacle avoidance so rarely I could not say, but it should not be dependent on GPS as it uses sonar and ir as I understand.

Thanks. In ATTI mode sonar and visual sensors work corrct? ( unless they are turned off.)
