Any ideas gents, is there a mat that can be laid out with helipad design?

Not a good idea IMO..... the props cause a vortex and upwash on landing and take-off due to ground effect and............

thanks, I was thinking of a heavy rubber matt of some description to stop[ grit and sand getting tossed around the motors. I do see your point on a light weight mat

I have some rubber tiles that interlock, kind of like the mats under excercise equipment. I'll try to post a pic. They should work well, and u can make whatever size you want.

I just use a coreflute board (old real estate sign) with some small light tent pegs in each corner. Works great

I have a ton of them left over, from a job. They are called ez flex tiles on Costco.com. Let me know if you want a few...
