Prepping for the New Year's First Sunrise

It appears we will have a little time in the morning to get the New Year's first sunrise at our local Lighthouse. No time like the present to check all systems, updates and charge some batteries. Happy New Years all!

Thanks, the weather looks great for the AM then turning cloudy. It is forecast to be a chilly 66° at sunrise

We will definitely share them here if the weather is as they say it will be. This first sunrise image of 2018 will be printed on a 20 X 30 canvas and or an aluminum palate and given to a local charity for one of their annual fundraiser auctions. Last years was a great success.

66 is chilly? Probably be around a minus 5 here in the morning. Was a minus 11 here yesterday morning. Lol.

It turned out to be a beautiful morning for flying and photography, the I2 and the 45mm lens are a great combination.

I can't wait to get back to where 66 degrees is "chilly". My morning shots today were at 10 degrees.
