If you are in the U.K. I am looking for a scrap 47 or 48 battery to test out a way of coming up with replacement units at a reasonable price.

I have a tb48 battery with over 125 charges still working but i dont need it. I can give it to you for 40$us plus shipping.
 
Hi, yes, they were both fine but due to lack of use the lipo aspect died. I did the ‘reset’ trick of popping the top off one of them and charging with crocodile clips and that did bring it back to life, but not for long as the lipo was so poor, but the electrics operated normally. When the next one died I didn’t try to revive it, so again the top should be fine.
