Boy, what I wouldn't give to have the opportunity to do something like this at the boneyard in Tucson -- Davis Monthan. Imagine having several weeks to fly all over the boneyard. Overview flights at 300 feet, close up flights at 50 feet, and side on flights at 10 feet plus ground livel shots and video with an Osmo. Then, build a high resolution 3D model of the entire base.

Alastair, we use 2 radios for communicate with Tower and pilots. I request permission every time before take off and report when we land. It was so serious but really cool
