I have 4 TB48 batteries. My 2 old ones are showing stress fractures around the area where it clips into the battery bay to the Inspire. One of batteries is worse, the crack is right through the plastic. Still a small crack, but it made it's way through the plastic completely. It does clip fine into the Inspire. Just worried it may fail and the battery will fall out during flight. What glue is safe for plastic? I want to repair these cracks.

Thanks in advance.

Do you often do inverted flight with your Inspire then? That's the only way they would fall out!
Where those cracks are would not actually affect the locking mechanism into the Inspire. They are simply supports to make the top of the battery more rigid on the edges.
I have just gone and checked all mine now - right back to the one that came with my original V1...... No cracks anywhere.

Haha oh ya! I do flips all the time! It's a beautiful sight to see the inspire doing flips . Kidding! Well I dunno... I'm just worried one day that clip piece on the battery covers cracks off. Then what? I guess I'll have to use duct tape

Perhaps you might be squeezing too tightly to remove battery.....

I try to be gentle but noticed they can be a bugger to get out. I've got it almost down to an art, with surgical martial arts perscission to remove them.

I've tried to be gentle, but it's tough lol. The plastic used is just to thin. These 2 batteries were manufactured last year. My other 2 new batteries were made this year. So far no issues.
