I just did my update...I followed the written instructions provided and had no problems updating the craft and the RC...the battery evidently updates at the same time the craft does. I think if we leave the bin file on the camera card, subsequent batteries will update when the craft powers up. I did do an IMU calibration and calibrated the compass as well. The Inspire fired up like it normally does when I moved the joy sticks in the start up position to fire up the craft. I didn't really do anything different to unlock the motors.

This is in the Release notes. Always good to read the release notes.
Notices:

 After updating to this firmware version, compass calibration is required.
 Aircraft’s motors are locked after the firmware updates is completed. Launch the DJI Pilot app to unlock the motors after firm update is completed.
 Contact DJI support if you have problems after updating the firmware.

1) Fire on the remote.
2) Turn the App on.
3) Turn on the AC.. Let everything initialize..
4) Calibrate the Compass, and do your routine flight checklist.. Now pull both joysticks down and in, and she should be good to go[emoji6]..
